Cotton futures were 12 to 83 points higher in most nearby contracts. The US dollar followed Tuesday’s losses with another round today. The Senate passed the Tax Plan last night, with the House passing their revised version today. Export sales of cotton during the week of 12/14 are expected to slow down from last week’s 259,700 RB. The Cotlook A index was 70 points lower from the day prior on December 19 to 85.95 cents/lb. Online cash sales on the Seam fell to 13,711 bales on December 19, with prices averaging 69.32 cents/lb, down 7 points from the previous day.

Mar 18 Cotton closed at 75.710, up 68 points,

May 18 Cotton closed at 76.120, up 79 points

Oct 18 Cotton closed at 73.800, up 12 points
