Cotton futures are 13 to 53 points lower at midday. The US dollar is providing pressure, up 365 points. The USDA Adjusted World Price (AWP) was updated to 64.22 cents/lb through this Thursday. The Commitment of Traders report on Friday showed the spec funds adding 18,677 contracts to their net long last week, taking it to 70,728 contracts as of November 28. It was only 42,208 contracts two weeks ago. Online cash sales of 16,527 bales were reported on the Seam, with prices down 76 points to 67.84 cents/lb. The Cotlook A index was down 55 cents on December 1 to 83.15 cents/lb.

Mar 18 Cotton is at 72.75, down 53 points

May 18 Cotton is at 73.35, down 42 points

Jul 18 Cotton is at 73.880, down 17 points
