Cotton Mixed on Wednesday

Cotton futures are showing 10 to 24 point gains in the front months on Wednesday, with back months slightly lower. Stock market futures rebounded strongly yesterday on ideas that the Fed would cut interest rates if the economy is slowing even a little bit. The weekly Export Sales report will be released on Thursday morning per the normal schedule. The Cotlook A index for June 4 was up 125 points from the previous day to 80.35 cents/lb. The weekly Average World Price (AWP) is 61.31 cents/lb through Thursday.

Jul 19 Cotton is at 69.21, up 24 points,

Dec 19 Cotton is at 67.3, up 10 points

Mar 20 Cotton is at 67.840, down 3 points
