Cotton Higher at Midday

Cotton is trading are firm to 28 points higher in the front months on Thursday. The 6-10 day outlook shows above normal chances for precip in most of TX and part of the Delta. The Cotlook A index for May 28 was up 110 points from the previous day to 80.60 cents/lb. The weekly Average World Price (AWP) is now 59.37 cents/lb, down 14 points from last week. The release of the weekly Export Sales report is pushed back until Friday due to Monday’s holiday.

Jul 19 Cotton is at 69.34, up 28 points,

Dec 19 Cotton is at 68.24, up 26 points

Mar 20 Cotton is at 68.610, up 2 points
