Though the day is quite volatile, I only made two trading suggestions this afternoon for my subscribers and brokerage clients. Here is my first suggestion:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I viewed the USDA data from this mornings grain report as a bearish surprise for soybeans with ending stocks far over expectations. As a new trade, therefore, sell (1) November 2018 soybean at the market. The last is $10.00, down cent. Use $10.20 stop, close only.

Selling soybeans with the funds short and dry conditions in Argentina is risky. But with the grain data bearish, the dollar higher and the Dow and the CRB in the ugly. Selling soybeans here may prove to be a good trade.

Here is my second trading suggestion for the day:

SPECIAL EMAIL ALERT!

As a new trade: buy (2) yes, (2) April hogs at the market. The last is $69.12, down 10. Use 100 point stop from entry.

The time is 9:24 a.m. Chicago

I also exited my short euro earlier in the day and now flat the currencies. That was a nice trade, short and sweet.
